1/2 HP 2400AF Surface Aerator 120V Float Bottom Screen Vertical Bars No Control Panel

The 2400 AF Pond Surface Aerators move a large amount of water for aeration and circulation, with minimal energy consumption to improve oxygen levels in ponds up to 1/2 surface acre. 1/2 HP pond aerator is designed to keep a natural appearance in the water and have proven to be an excellent choice for both continuous duty pond aeration and supplemental aeration for unique applications. Unlike fountains, this surface 1/2 aerator doesn't produce a tall spray pattern.

Each 1/2HP 120V ETL listed motor operates in just 15 inches of water and floats on the surface of the water and connects to a single power cord (length range from 50' to 200') to reach the shoreline. Installation and maintenance can be performed by a single person using the (2) 50' included mooring lines. Kasco offers an optional bottom screen with 84 vertical screening bars to keep debris out and allow for maximum water flow into the motor. Kasco also offers an optional C-25 Control Panel with a 24-hour mechanical timer and Class A GFI in 115V (sold separately).

Kasco 1/2 HP pond aerators are ideal for supplemental or emergency aeration in shallow water applications such as residential ponds, retention ponds, leachate ponds, commercial aquaculture, industrial lagoons, wastewater lagoons, and marinas.

Large pond surface aerators dramatically push high volumes of water to provide circulation with little or no bottom turbulence to increase fish growth and population density. Over time, you will notice an improvement in the overall quality of your water from the oxygen level boost provided by the Kasco 2400 AF motor.

Large pond surface aerators are ideal for shallow water applications and are commonly used in residential ponds and lakes, retention ponds, leachate ponds, commercial aquaculture, industrial lagoons, wastewater lagoons, and marinas.

Motor Features

This dependable 1/2 HP oil-cooled motor is manufactured with robust components and features a stainless steel corrosion-resistant design to drive in salt water applications. The hard-face internal mechanical seals for leak protection, Long-life top and bottom ball bearings, and environmentally friendly mineral oil lubrication for excellent heat dissipation.

Installation

All Kasco Surface Aerators can be installed and maintained by a single person. Each motor is self-contained and has a single power cord and can be attached to the optional bottom screen to keep debris out. The bottom screen has a stainless steel protective coating with 84 vertical screening bars with less than 1" gaps tapered and attachment hooks to keep debris out and allow for maximum water flow to the unit. Each surface aerator can be mounted on the included float and placed on the surface of the water. The included 2 (50' each) mooring lines can be connected to the float and anchored to the shoreline to keep the unit in place.

Maintenance

To maintain your surface aerator, simply clean the motor housing once or twice per year.
