At the core of the 1 XL5 system is a robust, oil-free piston compressor, housed in a weather-resistant, powder-coated aluminum cabinet. The unit comes factory-installed with a fully-assembled diffuser manifold, a high-capacity cooling fan, thermal protection, and a secure barrel lock for protection against tampering.

The included XL5 Vertex diffuser is constructed of self-cleaning, flexible membrane discs mounted on a heavy-duty base, capable of producing fine micro-bubbles that circulate water from the bottom up, with minimal surface disruption. The result is efficient mixing, helping manage excessive nutrients and supporting healthy aquatic ecosystems.
