The Aquarian Commercial 2HP generates a substantial water column, ranging from 1700 to 2700 gallons per minute (gpm) for the two-horsepower and three-horsepower aerators, respectively. This commercial unit features an exclusive diffuser that redirects the water column in an omnidirectional pattern, perpendicular to the water surface and outward from the device. As the water flow is propelled through the air at high velocity due to the diffuser, it adds oxygen at a significant rate, resulting in Standard Oxygen Transfer Rates ranging from five to six pounds per horsepower-hour, depending on the chosen horsepower.
