Cide-Kick II® Aquatic Surfactant | Non-Ionic Herbicide &
Algaecide Activator for Ponds & Lakes
Maximize the performance of your aquatic herbicides and algaecides with Cide-Kick II® Aquatic Surfactant. This professional-grade, non-ionic surfactant is specially formulated for aquatic applications, helping herbicides and algaecides spread more evenly, adhere better, and penetrate tough plant surfaces for faster, more effective weed and algae control.
Cide-Kick II® works by reducing surface tension and breaking down the waxy cuticle found on many aquatic weeds. This allows tank-mixed herbicides such as Glyphosate, Reward®, 2,4-D, and Weedtrine® to absorb more efficiently into targeted vegetation. It also improves contact and coverage when used with compatible aquatic algaecides, enhancing control of difficult algae species.
Its biodegradable, water-soluble, non-ionic formula is specifically designed for ponds, lakes, shorelines, canals, and other aquatic environments when used according to label directions.

How It Works
Cide-Kick II® lowers the surface tension of spray solutions, allowing herbicides and algaecides to spread evenly across plant surfaces rather than beading up and running off. The surfactant also softens the protective waxy coating found on many aquatic weeds, increasing absorption of the active ingredients and improving overall treatment performance.
For best results, always tank mix Cide-Kick II® with compatible aquatic herbicides or algaecides at the rates specified on the product labels.
Always read and follow the labels of both the surfactant and the accompanying herbicide or algaecide for approved uses, mixing instructions, application rates, and safety precautions.
