The Floating De-Icer is designed to protect docks, boats, marinas, boathouses, fish ponds, and other waterfront structures from damaging winter ice. It creates continuous water circulation by drawing warmer water from below the surface and directing it upward to help prevent ice formation around valuable waterfront areas.

Unlike dock-mounted de-icers, the Floating De-Icer suspends approximately two feet below the water's surface from its heavy-duty float. This allows the unit to automatically adjust as water levels change throughout the winter, providing consistent performance in lakes, ponds, reservoirs, and marinas affected by seasonal water fluctuations.
