The Scott Aerator Solar Boilermaker Aerator is a clean, eco-friendly, and affordable aeration solution for remote ponds without reliable access to electricity. Designed for daytime operation, this solar-powered system uses a variable-speed, submersible Franklin Electric induction motor to deliver high-volume water circulation and effective oxygen transfer without relying on costly, high-maintenance battery systems.

Available with two or four solar panels, the Solar Boilermaker moves up to 200 gallons per minute with the two-panel model and up to 300 gallons per minute with the four-panel model. Its low-profile design minimizes the visible water display while maximizing circulation and aeration to support healthier pond conditions.

Required for Installation

The following components are not included and must be supplied separately:

• Vertical pole for the solar panels and frame
• Concrete footing for the pole
• Two anchor ropes with weights or tethers for the aerator

Solar-Powered Performance

The Solar Boilermaker's photovoltaic panels continuously adjust the aerator's operating speed according to available sunlight. This allows the system to gradually increase water flow as sunlight strengthens, providing efficient daytime aeration without the need for battery storage.

Winter Operation

The Solar Boilermaker can also function as a pond de-icer during winter. No costly or time-consuming winterization is required. Simply turn off the power supply and leave the aerator in place during freezing conditions. Once the water thaws in spring, restore power and the unit is ready to operate.
