The Scott Aerator Solar-Powered DA-20 Display Aerator combines clean, eco-friendly solar aeration with the visual appeal of a beautiful fountain, making it an ideal solution for remote ponds where running electrical power is difficult or costly. Powered directly by the sun, this system provides effective daytime aeration while creating an attractive cascading, trumpet-shaped water display.

Available with two or four solar panels, the Solar DA-20 moves up to 200 gallons per minute with the two-panel model and up to 300 gallons per minute with the four-panel model. Its adjustable spray pattern measures approximately 5 feet tall and 9–20 feet wide, providing both functional water circulation and an attractive focal point.

Required for Installation

The following items must be supplied separately:

• Vertical pole for the solar panels and frame
• Concrete footing for the pole
• Two anchor ropes with weights or tethers for the aerator

Solar-Powered Performance

The Solar DA-20 uses photovoltaic solar panels to provide variable-speed daytime operation. As sunlight changes throughout the day, the system gradually adjusts water flow to maximize available solar energy. After sunset, the unit automatically shuts down, eliminating the need for battery storage.

Winter Operation

The Solar DA-20 is designed to remain in the water during freezing conditions without complicated or costly winterization procedures. Simply turn off the power supply and leave the aerator in place until spring. Once the water thaws, restore power and the unit is ready to operate.
