Purpose-Built Enclosure
The AC-Series cabinet provides protected ventilation, lockable access, and convenient service access to the compressor, filters, pressure gauge, controls, manifold, and air outlets. Dual washable enclosure filters, a screened exhaust outlet, active ventilation, and rubber compressor isolation mounts help support dependable operation and reduced sound transmission.
Optional Controls and Protection
The AC-LA2 may be factory-equipped with a digital time clock and/or the U.S. Solar Mounts automatic Slow Start control. Slow Start gradually increases aerator runtime during initial startup, helping reduce the risk of rapidly mixing low-oxygen bottom water into the upper water column. This is especially useful for new installations, seasonal restarts, and stratified ponds.
An optional high-temperature limit control is also available to provide added protection against overheating. These options give the AC-LA2 scheduling, startup-management, and equipment-protection capabilities that are not commonly available in basic plug-in pond aerators.
